About Company
There’s nothing special about PaperWriter. It’s no different from half a dozen clone sites I’ve used in the past. This one belongs to a UK-based NIC International Services LP with headquarters in Northern Ireland. The company promises affordable prices, quality writing, and free plagiarism reports to go with every paper. Unfortunately, they let incompetent writers bid on new orders and aren’t all that willing to give your money back. Read on to learn why I’m so unimpressed by this service.
PaperWriter Reviews & Online Reputation
There are plenty of cookie-cutter positive reviews on PaperWriter. It’s “good job” and “awesome writing” all around. But when I went looking for feedback elsewhere, all I found were a measly four reviews across Sitejabber, Trustpilot, and Reddit. The latest was published in late 2020, which doesn’t incite confidence when dealing with a new writing company. You’d think they would have an influx of new clients throughout a year of remote classes.
Types of Services Provided
While the complete list of assignment types and classes is impressive, when you take a closer look, the extent of services provided can be summed up in four simple points:
- Writing and rewriting
- Proofreading and editing
- STEM assignments
- Calculations
Prices & Deadlines
None of the PaperWriter reviews mention prices, so let me explain how they work. First, you need to create an account to see an estimate. Next, the order form uses your paper type, deadline, academic level, and the number of pages and calculates the lowest rate possible. Then, you browse the writers’ bids that start with the lowest price and go up to almost twice the amount.
As you see, there’s no telling how much your paper will cost. Still, the lowest rate is $10.8, but it only works for high schoolers and 2-month deadlines. For college students, the prices start at $11.4. And I paid about $50 for a 5-page essay on a 5-day deadline.
PaperWriter Discounts and Promo Codes
I have no idea how I landed such a sweet deal. The moment I logged in for the first time and created a new order, the 20% discount was applied automatically. Though the bidding process doesn’t state it outright, I think the offers are adjusted to account for this discount as well. And if you order a long-form assignment, you can get as much as 30% off.
Paper Quality and Personal Experience
At this point, you might be expecting a plot twist that will turn my Paper Writer review around, but this is not a story with a happy ending. You already know I wanted a 5-page essay; it was supposed to be an argumentative piece about vaccination mandates and personal freedoms. I expected it to be opinionated and controversial but still supported with scientific data. Instead, it was a long rant with no substance and not a single unbiased source cited. Besides, some sentences made me question the writer’s knowledge of English. Word choice and turns of phrase were that awkward!
PaperWriter Revisions and Refund Policy
Like some Paper Writer reviews suggested, the revisions are free, but only if you convince the Quality Assurance Department that your initial instructions were not followed. I could barely manage that, but the second draft was no better, with the same lack of substance.
I didn’t even bother asking for a refund. As far as I can tell, that’s only possible if you provide a Turnitin report proving plagiarism. Anything short of that, including late delivery, does not warrant a full refund, and even partial refunds are a struggle to secure.
Support and Communication
The support agents were extra pushy, while the QA managers relied heavily on automated answers to deal with complaints. Overall, communication was not the strongest suit of this company, nor was it the worst aspect of my PaperWriter review.
Conclusion
I did my best to make this Paperwriter.com review objective and detailed to prevent you from repeating my mistakes and trusting this company. I hope some of their writers are better equipped to deal with college essays and can conduct objective research. However, based on my experience, I do not recommend this site. There are plenty of affordable and reliable alternatives out there.
